Favorites Questions
  1. What was your favorite food when you were a child?
    • Pizza
  2. What’s the #1 most played song on your iPod?

  3. What is one of your favorite quotes?
    • "Stand for something or you will fall for anything."
  4. What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
    • Shopping 
  5. What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
    • Dishes!!

    • Walking or playing sports
  7. What is your favorite time of day/day of the week/month of the year?
    • I really enjoy "My time" which is nap time... favorite day of the week is Saturday and favorite month is May
  8. What’s your least favorite mode of transportation?
    • Public transportation of any sort.

    • My eyes

  1. If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for?
    • A dinner party. I love organizing "fancy" parties and decorating. 
  2. If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint?
    • Hawaii. We went to the Big Island for our honeymoon and saw cliffs with waterfalls, it was breathtaking.
  3. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?
    • 30.. I am not there yet but I assume that will be a great age. I enjoy being an adult and being a mom to young children.
  4. If you knew the world was ending in 2012, what would you do differently?
    • I would strategize to keep the world going longer.
  5. If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?
    • My grandmother. She already is my mentor and I go to her when I need advice.
  6. If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
    • I would love to witness myself giving birth to my children (outside my body)... wish I would have video taped the experience. 
  7. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
    • I want to learn how to play tennis. My husband greatly enjoys the sport as does his family and I would love if our little family could enjoy that together too.
  8. If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be?
    • Writing a book or autobiography.
  9. If you were immortal for a day, what would you do?
    • Rob a bank
  10. If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?
    • Katie 
  11. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
    • My husband's grandfather.  He died when my husband's father was young but he has so much history to tell about the family and their heritage that i would love to hear about it.
    • I would also love to meet my great-grandmother who also died when my grandmother was a young girl but from what my grandmother says, she would have been an incredible person to know.
  12. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
    • Pay off my mortgage and student loans, invest and travel.
  13. If you were reincarnated as an animal/drink/ice cream flavor, what would it be?
    • A needy cat... or chocolate ice cream or mountain dew 
  14. If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life?”, what would it be?
    • What is the secret to eternal happiness?

Personal History Questions
  1. Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best?
    • Yes. I believe everything happens for a reason. I have had many of these moments.
  2. What was one of the best parties you’ve ever been to?
    • My wedding or bachelorette party
  3. What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up?
    • Parenthood. I can totally relate to the woman going through cancer and the strains on her family since Colby had a tumor last year... and I can relate to her son who is autistic because I have an autistic brother.
  4. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
    • finding out my husband had cancer while being pregnant and watching my husband go through finding out he had a life threatening tumor and waiting for testing and getting it removed and going through the recovery.. all in two weeks time.
  5. What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
    • My husband's tumor.
  6. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
    • oh boy... lied.
  7. When was the last time you had an amazing meal?
    • About a week ago... we went and had lobster and steak at Outback for my husband's 30th birthday dinner.
  8. What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received?
    • Best: my wedding ring, Worst: knick knack junk
  9. What do you miss most about being a kid?
    • not having so many responsibilities 
  10. What is your first memory of being really excited?
    • probably Christmas
  11. What was the first thing you bought with your own money?
    • Barbies
  12. When was the last time you were nervous?
    • During the last Iowa State basketball game.. it was a close one.
  13. What is something you learned in the last week?
    • That you can wash rugs in the washing machine
  14. What story does your family always tell about you?
    • When my little brother was born I asked if I could see his butt.
  15. At what age did you become an adult?
    • at 17 I moved out on my own and learned how to tend for myself but I feel like I fully matured at about 24. If my kids asked me what age made them an adult I would say 25.
